Removing climate control panel?

Hi,
I am just trying to remove a Brodit mobile phone mount and i cant seem to see how the climate panel slides out to remove the mount.

I have removed the ashtray and pulled out the cubby hole but i am now stuck.

If you've taken the cubby hole out, you'll see 2 brass coloured clips, 1 each side.

There are 4 of these that hold the climate panel in - 2 on top and 2 below. The best bet is to push from the back whilst slightly lifting the bar along the top of the panel.

Get a clip or 2 free and it's plain sailing then!

Ahhh, do i need to also remove the CD player Mike?

Its an A4 unit but the clips are the same

Yes, it definitely makes life easier if you can access the top two clips to release them
