Removing redex from kitchen lino

Hi,

I had a bottle of redex that has fell over and been running out all over the floor in the kitchen and it has stained the floor black anyone got any ideas to remove it?

Engine cleaner? Not Gunk, (it stinks) but Halfords engine cleaner is remarkable stuff.

Yeah fuel additive... its a big black mark

Then leave the windows open and don't put the oven on, whatever you do.

In the end, you may find that the stain has gotten inside the lino, deeper than the top surface and replacement may be the only option!

Try WD40, I used it to remove green face paint (don't ask) off a beige carpet.

I will give the wd40 a go first if that doesn't work will try the petrol. Can hope for the best!. thanks

I hate TV shopping channels but must admit I've found "Stainz-r-out" very effective at removing a wide range of stains with no negative effects on the material affected by the spillage (it's made from bananas). You can get it from QVC or, possibly, the Ideal World shopping channel. I'd use it neat on undiluted Redex.
