Retrofit False Booth - Worth it?

My tdi has the fittings for the false floor only , as i wanted to carry a full size spare i bought a sheet of 12mm ply and cut it to fit, and covered it with black fabric.

Funnily enough I am in the process of fitting one , the talk through is really good, one thing I found that the clips that are easily broken are slide in place , so once you get to the stage of removal pull upwards as you pull this helped save the clips.
I would not say I am good at these sort of tasks but I have managed it.. straightforward and worthwhile.

Personally I think the false floor doubles the use of the boot as without it when you have items on the boot floor the space above is useless as you can't put other things in and the space is wasted.

The shelf is also perfect for shopping and still enables the lower boot to have essential permanent items left in and be unaffected.

Once you've had one its one of those things you can't really be without.

To me it's a bit like an estate car, once you've had one it's hard to go back to a saloon as somethings missing and it just seems wrong?

Hi,
I've seen mention of a "how to" (maybe by @Sarge ) for retrofitting the false floor, but although I've found quite a few titbits, I can't find anything close to a step by step, or picture sequence.
Anyone know if such a thing exists?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mac.
