Right side indicators not flashing when using hazards

Hi,

Strangely when I lock/unlock the car or use the hazards, only maybe one in ten times do all the lights flash, usually just the passenger side. The individual indicators work fine.

What's going on, and is it a reasonable fix?
 
The indicator relay is failing. It has a separate circuit for the hazards hence why all individual bulbs still light. It's a bit of a fiddle to get at, buried behind the centre stack of the dash. Minimal tools required, just faff. Plenty of tips and how-to's on here.

I was reading that thread and struggling to keep up honestly. Is it a replacement part required or can it be salvaged?
 
It's easiest to replace - just buy a known good one from one of the guys on here for a few quid - a lot cheaper than you'll see them on eBay. If you've done the account upgrade to access the Market (click on your username and it's in the menu there), a post in the Wanted section should get some responses.
