Have found rns e it's a 8p0035193 e is this suitable/ easy to fit or is it better to go for an earlier one if so what number thanks nick

The E version will work, but will need downgrading, reprogramming and upgrading again for full functionality (even then it will not work properly with Gala)

The only Mk2 code that will work properly is the ones ending in B.

I've not come across a Mk1 (part numbers ending with 192 (letter)) that didn't at least play "out of the box" in an A2. However, the Mk1s have a slower, poorer quality screen, only accept certain (rare) SD-Cards. However, they are not without merit and work fine for the casual user.

Fitting, I suppose depends on how many car stereos you've fitted before. You will need adaptor cables for the Quadlock and the FAKRA radio connections.

It's got silver knobs so think it's 2010 model fitting no problem just want to get right conecter any recommendations will it work with bose system before programming or do i need to get electronic whizz on it first thanks

Whilst it will work with the Bose in that it will produce music then yes, but it won't be using the advantages of the Bose system without reprogramming. It needs vcds coding to get the best out of it.

As long as it doesn't damage any thing will wait until have eco reprogram have done at same time are all quadlock and Dakar conecter the same or is there a seller who has better ones thanks

is that as replacement or additional . does symphony with bose have booster thanks

I'm not quite certain what you mean there?

The BOSE system has a (much) better amplifier and speakers, and because of this a greater dynamic range (think it as Blu-Ray 4k instead of DVD (RNSE) outputting to a 4K television (BOSE SYSTEM)). As standard the RNSE will send out a DVD signal to the speakers (standard def), so you won't be making the most of the extended range of the BOSE system (less bass depth and top end). Once reprogrammed to recognise the BOSE it will send out a greater depth (BLU-RAY, 4K).

I hope that makes sense.
