most A2’s that I’ve seen have 6spoke alloys as std ..I have 7 spoke 15” on mine reg 05..why would that be

If they are genuine A2 alloys then they may have been standard or an option from new.

There were options of 15,16 and 17 inch wheels when the A2 was new. Lots of owners will have changed their wheels over the years, some going smaller because it's claimed that 15 inch wheels with higher profile tyres give a more comfortable ride.

The 6 spoke look better, the ride is ok on the 15” I think I’ll hang onto them as they show no damage and no vibration thanks for your input
