Rolling Road Social

I am afraid to say that due to circumstances beyond my control, the rolling road day, scheduled for 26th November, has had to be postponed.

If people are still up for a meeting and guided tour around the Midlands Air Museum (home to one of the last Avro Vulcan bombers in the UK) and the curry afterwards, then that's great - we'll keep the date running and re-organise the rolling road portion of the day for some other time.

I can only apologise for this, but rest assured that the rolling road session has not been cancelled, merely postponed to a later date, probably in the new year now.

Cheers,

Mike

PS Please PM me with any questions/suggestions.

Thanks Carl - I hope that the other 9 (so far) attendees are still up for the slimmed-down social?

Cheers,

Mike

Mike,

It is a shame about the rolling road session, but this was only part of the day. The main aim is meeting up with like minded A2 enthusiasts and having a good natter. Add an interesting tour of the air museum and a curry, well... just the curry will do, and I am sold. To this end, count me as still in. ;)

Just confirm where and when you want to meet... (I assume it will be the museum though!!).

Come on folks, lets still make this a good turn out and memorable day and reward Mike and Robin's organisational effort!!:D

Cheers,

Darren

Thanks for the support Darren, but don't forget that Robin has put a lot of work in to this social too.

Apologies to Robin for leaving him off, my message of support was merely meant as an incentive to others and as a pat on the back.

Well done to you both, I will edit the message above to reflect this.

Darren

:DI'll second that Darren. Count me in to.

Let's show our appreciation by getting a squadron of A2's together.

Hi,

I'll be there. To be honest - didn't really want to rev the little A2 on a rolling roady anyway.

I'm (still) in

Barring disasters, I'll be there.

Now with CCTech, heated door mirrors, centre console oddments tray, rear cup holders ...

i'll never catch up with Skipton, but it's fun trying!

Al

Glad to see that you all are still up for the social - didn't know that there would be that much interest without the rolling road part of the day.

See you all in a couple of weeks then.

Cheers,

Mike

Darren, as we will probably share a car and let the ladies talk about kids, kids and kids (help) I'd appreciate you keeping away from a Bengali-Blazer Rapid-Fire Curry :D

Ok Chris... you win!

I promise to either stick to a Korma or alternatively bring a can of super strength air freshener with me.;)

Just think, by the time we make it back, Di will have Marie convinced that 'babies' are the way forward - though having seen Marie with Kayleigh, I don't think that she needs much in the way of persuasion!!:D

Pitter, patter....

Regards,

Darren
