Safe chassis area to place on a 2 post lift or axle stands

Good question! Lost count of the number of times I've jacked cars up but a2 has me somewhat nervous.

All I was doing was prep to paint front caliper retaining areas making up part of the hub assembly.

Anyways lesson (whatever lesson it was) given and received
 
Do you want to come over to mine? I’ve got a low rise trolley jack, four axle stands, two A2 jacks and two ramps. and lots of big bits of wood (3x3 I think).

Me too...indeed exactly the same number of each.

Well thats apart from your specialist wood setup of course :)

I do think some sort of Scottish get together though might both be a bad thing.
