Safety

Guys, many of us now have more unexpected free time on our hands due to the lethal Covid-19 that is currently infecting the planet. We are more likely to try to spend more time on our cars- in self isolation. Here is where the problem lies, if we have an injury or worse are trapped there is nobody around to help. It is therefore imperative that we use ALL safety equipment and PPE (gloves, goggles, ear protection etc). PLEASE stay safe personally and while working on cars or otherwise.

That went through my mind over last couple of days as I’ve been chainsawing and hedge trimming on a leylandi at ours ...the last place you would want to be a&e ..

I'll be careful then as I ordered a clutch kit today for delivery tomorrow and have a JDD box to fit as well as replacement front and rear bumpers and new shocks all round. got the new top mounts for front and bump stops for rears, bolts will have to be reused as unable to get them ATM
I seem to recal a rubber between the rear springs and the subframe, how thick is this meant to be, I have some rubber sheet so will be making a pair as easy to change if needed once we are back to normal
Owe and I need to remember to change the washer bottle as its cracked or holed (I have a spare one)
Should keep me busy for a few hours

Paul

Good luck with installing the JDD.
If you like, here's a link for useful information, look at the post of "Arthurwest".

It helped me to install my MZN gearbox successfully.

Cheers, Menno.

Excellent point and a like earned from me - We owe it to the heroes of health services (whether NHS or not; for those who are based elsewhere) to not burden them with the results of preventable accidents when there’s a global health emergency on the go - Not to mention the discomfort to ourselves plus the worry caused for those who love us.

Is there an English translation option ?

Don't have a clue.
Regarding fitting a JDD, "Arthurwest" is a Lituanian guy with a webpage in Lithuanian/Russian (?), but i was able to translate it to dutch with google translator on my phone.
Guess it can work for you too, there's a link in my diary. I'll have a look if I can find it and post it here.

Here it is:
