Scotland meet-up - NEW DATES - 25th/26th June 2022

I'm sorry to have to pass on this one. There's now going to be a big family celebration on the Sunday.

If anyone who is going both to this event and to Kimbolton, is also going to Stanford Hall or possibly to the one in Lancashire which is still TBC, I can hand over the A2OC field kit to them there - flags, floor banners, gazebo, tables, gas burner etc. Fills the back of an A2 quite nicely

Hello Ian, I have pm'd Teresa to say that I am unable to arrange Lancashire bash this year as awaiting knee op which is supposed to be before the end of May, seeing is believing as Martin waited a year for his op that he is currently recovering from. Sorry to dissapoint but happy to arrange for next year, which should work out as my preferred campsite will have electric hockup by then.
Look forward to seeing people in Aberdeen and Kimbolton (possibly on crutches☺)

£5/day inc overnight for tent/caravan

Farm Park with indoor and outdoor play and animals to see and feed (Separate charge for this)
Workshop with Timmus Sat and Sun (book directly with Tom for his services)

We will be organising a Run on Sun starting off by heading up Royal Deeside stopping off in Aboyne for a quick stop for anyone who needs a shop etc then onto Crathie to visit the famous Kirk and Balmoral where there'll be a chance for a photo shoot in the car park. Then for those who wish to we'll try to organise a tour round Lochnagar Distillery (£20 per head) once finished there we'll have a scenic drive over the hill to then drive back to the farm via Donside with a stop over for a pub lunch.

I've been uhmming and ahhing about whether we could do this due to the distance, but the idea of being with you lovely folks, animals on site and soooooo much daylight at that time of year has swung it. We will leave Friday and stop over Friday night, possibly near the Kelpies, before heading to you sat morning.
Then reverse it Sunday evening. Really looking g forward to it x

I was wondering if I could have some assistance with this and other areas at the meet? They are all over the place and was thinking someone might have experience with this sort of thing. So nit fix it over there ,but learn more on what to do with it?

They look to be chips through the paintwork,

They can be built up with a good quality touch up.

It can then be wet sanded flat with 2000 grit wet and dry, before using a compound such as Meguires Ultimate compound to polish the new sanding marks out. The same will need to be done to remove the scratch marks caused by whatever product you have currently used to try to remove them.

I see @murdo is going to the meet. He’s quite experienced in paintwork correction, so perhaps he can explain better in person.

Just to clarify, I haven't attempted to remove them,it came it all the scratches you see! Hence why I want to ask experienced people how to avoid more damage!

Just checked the nearest Travelodge (Bucksburn) and they have rooms for 2 @ £60, for 2 nights, Fri and Sat
So hopefully we will be there with Deva.
