@George Hogg has very kindly offered to host a meet-up for a coffee and a chat at his place https://www.wynfordfarm.com - set in beautiful open countryside, with plenty to keep young (and not so young!) families entertained - indoor and outdoor play and lots of animals to visit and feed. A cafe and farm shop are also on site. As well as good cheer and company, there will be plenty of A2's to admire - George currently has 7, for starters!

The location is Wynford Farm Park, Kingswells, Aberdeen AB15 8RQ. Google Maps / Street View on the postcode gets you right to the door.

The date and time is Sunday 7th November 11am-3pm or so.

Dundee, Perth and Inverness are all around a couple of hours away, but maybe those from as far away as Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh will fancy a longer run out for the day. Naturally, all are welcome :) For anyone who might be thinking of coming from even further afield, do talk to George as there is also a holiday home which can accommodate up to four couples.

Please register your interest to give George some idea of numbers for the day.

Looks great, thank you apart from this bit “inclduing an organic beef farm and plenty to keep young (and not so young!) families entertained”
We do have an organic beef farm but the Farm Park has indoor and outdoor play and lots of animals to visit (and feed)!
Lots more info at www.wynfordfarm.com/faqs

Thank you so much for your help. I loved the Richmond meeting and would love to host something similar. Do you think Tom Cunningham would be interested in coming next year?

Edited George :) By all means PM me with any more suggestions.

I'm sure if there was somewhere under cover with lighting and power available, @timmus would be able to offer his retrofit & diagnostic services. Due to the distances involved, this would probably better suit an all-weekend event though.

We are a bit tempted as we have just looked at Premier Inn prices, one at Westhill at £29 per night for the Saturday and Sunday but we just think it's a step too far for the time of year, but certainly look forward to a weekend meet next spring maybe.

Thank you! I have an 8 car garage and several sheds on the farm that we could choose to use for an event this year. It’s a bit short notice to ask Tom for this year.

Sorry I won't make this one. I've a 30 year reunion event on the 6th plus its my birthday weekend so there's not a cat in hell's chance I'll be driving Sunday morning. Have a brill time ??

No worries Murdo, we’ll have another one next year.

Hi there.
New on here and to A2 ownership. I'd like to attend this. Do I just turn up or do I have to register etc?
Thanks.

Hi, all you need to do is let me know and then turn up for this one. It’s a low key get together. Next year it’ll be a full weekend with camping and potentially a holiday home (up to four couples sharing) and that will be bookable.
It’ll be great to meet you

George

Hi George, we cannot make it in November but will put a slot in for next year for a weekend.

Will Timmus being going for an A2 surgery etc?

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul, that’s great that you’re interested in next years event, Teresa is going to put something official up for next year. I’m having trouble getting in touch with Tom to see if he is interested. We’ve got plenty of garage and barn space if he can come.
