Great to have Seb now joining us on the trip all the way from Germany. The response to our holiday in north Scotland has been amazing thank you.
I'm now in reciept of an invoice requesting a 20% deposit for the weekend accomodation on Skye so I will be in touch directly to request the pennies from attendees. We have exclusive use of a 6 bedroom self catering boutique bunk house with 8 glamping pods.

There's still spaces available if anyone else is tempted just let me know or post / drop me a line with any questions you may have.
Ah excellent. Marius will enjoy having a fellow German to talk to ?

Good afternoon good people,

Due to a few cancellations there are still a few places left on what will surely be one of the most picturesque A2OC socials ever. If you are in two-minds, don't be, be quick before places fill up as this really will be a magical experience.

If you are interested, please post on here or PM @murdo direct.

Cheers,

Darren

We are very tempted but the chances are we will be moving house around this time so cannot commit until nearer the time.

It is certainly an area we would like to visit

Another bump folks as this could be a one-off opportunity to take yourself and your prized A2 to a stunning location and enjoy not only the beautiful backdrop and driving experience but also the company of some like-minded friends and A2OC family.

The itinerary is coming together nicely and there will be plenty to see and do for everyone young and old.

May will soon be here and the sun will be shining. The time couldn't be more right to book yourself a nice mini break-away. Still places left... Just saying... ;)

Thanks Darren. Appreciate you raising the profile of our wee adventure. Really enjoying putting this together . As you say we have a few places available if anyone fancies joining us. Amazing driving and stunning scenery. And that's just the A2s ?

12 ish weeks to go folks! Thanks again for the amazing response to this event on the 20th anniversary year of our little aluminium pals . Interestingly there is only a small number of our Scottish members signed up so far. If anyone fancies tagging along for part of the trip all are welcome and there's accomodation available in Skye . Similarly there's still places for the full trip. Join us for a trip to remember!

I’d like to come along if there is space. I’ll go and read up on what I need to do
Hi Alan. That's great news . If you read the first post you'll get the general idea. Ian ( boxyA2) has a ferry booking available for 25th. PM him to confirm and you can arrange a transfer . If not it needs booked through calmac website. I can provide a link . You'll need to book accomodation in fort William on 24 May . Most of us staying at the premier inn. Some attendees are stopping off in the Glasgow M74 J2 Travelodge ( cambuslang). I have group accomodation booked at the cowshed boutique bunk House on 25 and 26 May. Still spaces available. And you'll need to consider another stop off on the road home on 27th .
PM me or post any questions on here. If you PM me your mobile number we have a WhatsApp group for holiday discussion and sharing some photos of the scenery we will visit. It will be great to have you along with us.

Thanks, Murdo!. I’ll start working my way through the list. I’ll take the cowshed, if you let me know what you need to pay/confirm.
PMing boxy A2 now.

Al

Ok, here goes:
premier inn sorted for the 24th (last room, phew) in fort W
Contacted boxy re ferry ticket and he’s already passed on, so booked ferry with CalMac.
Travelodge booked for 27th in fort W.

I can send you funds via pingit to your mobile for the cowshed, and we’re set, so pm me and i’ll do that.

Now, which car to come in ...?!

We're so looking forward to this ... fantastic scenery and great company even for the non A2-heads among us. So much has been put into the organization of this trip, it's going to be great whatever the weather. I'm sure plenty of excellent memories are going to be made!

Just wanted to say how much I’m looking forward to this trip.

I know I’m a bit of a latecomer, but thanks to the brilliant communications and organisation, i was organised in about 30 minutes!

Always wanted to see this part of the world, so great to see it with some guiding who knows it so well.

I think there are a couple of spots left, so if you’re thinking about, press the go button. It’s not too late for what is going to be some epic scenery and driving!

Really looking forward to making new friends, seeing new A2 cars..... and most of all exploring the stunning scenery.
Believe there may still be room if you were undecided!

I,m very much looking forward to this social and it can't come soon enough. I've never been this far North before and the scenery looks fantastic.

Love the pic of the Bealach na ba road!!!

I've done it in recent years on my adventure motorbike, Land Rover and old VW Camper and no matter what your driving it's just such an amazing place...

Love it!

Wow, even with the 'realistic' weather on the first photo there, I'm so excited to be going on this trip! End of May can't come soon enough.

If you were debating about whether to come or not, your mind is now made up :D
