Seat fabric help

Hi all

Hoping for some help with a seat fabric supply problem . .

I am having a set of heated, lumbar sports seated recovered for my red colour storm. The trimmer can re-use the red centre sections from the existing SE seats, but needs new soul black fabric for the bolsters, sides and back. So far, he hasn't been able to locate a suitable supply.

Any suggestions for a source of new unused fabric? Or a supply of 'as new' used fabric? Needs to be a perfect match to the rear seats.

Very good condition fabric seats do pop quite often in the market section, generally at very reasonable prices, so worth scanning the market section.
The challenge is that bolster plain fabric is unique to bolsters only sections, which is where most of the wearing occurs....SE seats side panels would be too small to cover sport seats bolster.

Good point @spike , indeed the rear panel should have enough fabric for one bolster...

If your upholstery does manage to find soul black cloth I am sure many members would want to recover the driver's bolsters - let us all know!

I do remember the old Audi Tradition site had some loose cloth so looked (not easy) at the new site. I found platinum but not soul black, but thought I would mention it in case any member is interested. Try 'cloth' in the search box you will be overwhelmed, unfortunately it s not A2 specific, there might be something somewhere in the 33 pages but I gave up after three pages.

Thought I would attack it with part numbers, what a minefield, way beyond me.

I randomly tried a soul black number, 8Z0881806ENFB, on Audi Tradition and lo and behold this pops up.

What a price but the reason I mention it is the colour description. Sabre black, denoted as soul black on 7zap, can it be the same? Wondered if our soul black is sabre black in another model range eg. A3, anybody know?

Anyway it whittled away a bit of time of the 12 week isolation!

@steveb - thanks for the offer, if the fronts are sports seats it may be a solution if Audi Tradition can’t help.
