Service Indicator

I had my TDI 75 serviced aprrox 2000 miles ago, i had the long life service done at the time indicator was showing 10k miles till service this gradually increased to 14,300 miles but this has now started to drop to 14,100 and now on 13,600 miles. What could be causing this as i thought it should go upto atleast 20k

The time and mileage between services on the long life regime is entirely dependant on your driving style and journey type.

It is probably this that has lessened the interval. The fact that the mileage initially increased means that it was properly set to variable servicing - something that a lot of garages can't do.
