Servicing West Sussex

Just wanted to find out if anyone can recommend a garage in the West Sussex area for servicing my A2 1.6 FSI.. last service in the book was at 48k and included the cam belt so this one is just the loong life lube..

I have found the following garages - anyone have any experience

??? - http://www.ctcarsltd.co.uk/ this is a bit of a trek but could have a day in Guildford

or

I have a private mechanic who is very, very good and knows his stuff.. should I just use him (he can stamp the book and follows the service plans like clockwork using OEM parts).. the car is a 2003 so I am not sure what real benefit using a garage will have

.. seriously.. any thoughts from anyone?.. I am tending towards gettting my friend to do it.. any money I lose from the service history will be saved in the price..

Try Camspec in Crawley, very impressive. Just had my A2 serviced, cambelt, waterpump, brake pads/discs etc done. Good price and honest with it. Highly recommended.

I know Camspec do a collection/delivery service, if your not too far away they may collect. Worth a try.

Hi There

Live in Crawley but have used CT Cars nr Guilford many times as good value and you can book up for a runaround whilst they have it. Ian is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Recently had a MOT failure on brake balance and quickly used County Motors in Crawley Down (just outside Crawley!) and also impressed with their knowledge and value. They also have a runaround if you book up in enough time.
