For those of you that haven't seen this, here is a star wars/welsh valley mix. Hopefully we won't bump into any of these rouges.
For those of you that are offended by bad language please do not view.
Apolpgies for the bad language. I in no way endorse the use of it.

Just to confirm that nobody will come to any harm on this journey, both Stevec and I speak valleys.

Steve why did you photoshop all the rain out? These look unrealistic from the Wales we saw last year!

I would think that I'm going to be going on this .... as long as good weather can be ordered! I went to a Mercedes SLK get-together not long after the A2 meet-up, last Year. The same area and some of the same roads! However, for the SLK do, the weather was even worse and having gone 2/3 rds round our circuit, the road was impassable from flooding! We had to just turn back and return by the same route! Maybe we should do a collective prayer for good weather? LOL!

Thanks for making the treck down David. I appreciate its a long journey for you. If we weren't heading up to the Scotland trip the month after we may have ventured further north. Perhaps we could work on something for next year in the Snowdonia national park.

As for the weather, yes I don't see the point in us all getting together to be soaked and not see any of the view; but as long as the forecast is reasonable the week before it will go ahead.

So all being well thats Sunday 7th April?

Would a future a2 owner be okay to attend, not in an a2 and do as much fact finding of a2 stuff as possible with the help of nice owners?
Come along n find out what a diverse bunch we owners are. Beware though A2's are addictive!

I’ll leave the 205 at home then I’ll bring along the mr2, if it holds together for long enough!
Ah 205. That brings back good memories. My wife's was a gem, until our eldest passed his test!

Hi Teresa. I haven't set the exact start point yet, but if you book a room in Merthyr Tydfil or Aberdare, you will be no more than 15 minutes from the starting point.

Please add me to the list Steve, thanks, happy to help create some sat nav ITN and GPX route files if you need me to.

I'll need to book for the Saturday night as well - with the caveat about the weather, a cancellable booking sounds appropriate.

Where are my fellow travellers from the wrong side of the border thinking of staying? From the last event in August, I can recommend the Premier Inn in Merthyr for a quiet location and a good room and breakfast. Or there's the Travelodge which is cheaper and practically next door to that good Chinese buffet that we ate in, but that's right on a busy leisure centre.
