Specialist A2 Repairs, Mods and Assistance

Skipton01

Admin Team
Following an overwhelming number of requests, I have decided to offer a specialist A2 assistance service to members in the Manchester area and surrounding (if you can travel to me, then I'll help you, if you can't get to me, I can come to you for a modest call-out fee).

As people probably know, I am one of the foremost authorities on the Audi A2 in the UK. I have full, up to date diagnostic facilities and the ability to tackle most requests, from my small workshop.

If you need any work carrying out, whether it's a small job or a large one, get in touch to discuss your requirements: email me - [email protected]

Please DON'T PM me, but use the email above. I don't like to use the forums for self-advertisement, but this is a one off post to stop my PM inbox filling up so quickly (and I have a 400 limit!!!). I have now re-posted this as redundancy draws near, so may be looking at this line of work full time!

Cheers,

Mike

Good heavens Mike. I hope you find someone to make good use of your tremendous skills.

Sorry to hear about the possible redundancy. I take it prospects for a new job are thin on the ground?

There are one or two jobs I have in mind for my car ( retro cruise amongst others) and I am not too far away in West Yorks. Just waiting for MOT and if there aren't any costly implications will be in touch.

Mike, sorry to hear about the redundancy! If you are anywhere near enough to London, I'll be your customer!

Thanks for all your kind words and support - redundancy is not absolutely certain, but it'll be a minor miracle if I'm not selected from the pool!

The chances of another job in sound engineering or tv broadcasting is very slim around the north and I'll be looking at a change of direction in all probability. There aren't enough A2s around to make that a viable job, but it'll be a tide over for a short while!

Adrian, get in touch whenever you're ready.

Cheers,

Mike

Well Mike

My Job for you came about right then

Cheers Phil

P.S sorry here about your job fingers crossed, see you on the 6th

Hi guy's long time lurker, but not a prolific poster yet!

Just a head's up fellow A2 er's. Mike kindly come to check over my A2. Full diagnostic with fault clearing, test drive, and his honest unbiased assesment of most aspects that really matter. Absolutely brilliant stuff, and a top guy! Most importantly, any fears or niggling thoughts in the back of my mind about "What's that hum/noise! Is all well, and as it should be with my A2?" have now gone.

As you guy's probably know...anything I asked Mike about my A2, he would know the answer or have come across it before. His knowledge of our dream machine is impressive to say the least! Where else could you expect to get a service like that!

Thanks again Mike!

Cheers,

Sean.

I could do with a elec socket in the boot for the refrigerator, the only problem having a socket in the boot is I may forget to pull the plug out and leave it on ummm.. Could also do with having the rear speakers finally throwing out some sound, wires.

I have an oil sensor light on but when i look at the engine cant find the oil sensor ????

You'll need to get right under the engine and remove the tray as the oil level sensor sits down underneath.

Please don't use this thread to 'Ask Mike' - I'll gladly answer questions of this sort elsewhere (as will others!).

Cheers,

mike
