Hallo to everybody!
I've bought a Tdi 90cv a month ago with Alpine Ina-n333r Navi system.
to install and use it properly, I've to find the speed sensor wire behind the Din unit or speedometer or fuses....!!!! there's someone here so kind to help me??
thanks in advance!

Oh dear, here we go again. The availability of standard ISO pins on the stuff you can find behind the radio had become a bit fuzzy for me.
Someone else was looking for the same info. No definite outcome, AFAIK.
But read through this older thread. I've posted 2 links to the 'standards' and you can also read about the different types of signal that you might get from the pin. Don't know what the Alpine unit needs...

Hope that helps, to begin with.

Dear Swiv, you're really very kind... but the problem is that i've tried to connect every wire I've found behind the navi unit, and no one works!
according to Audi assistance service I've to find the speed sensor wire directly from speedometer or Abs, or I don't know where....!!
however thank a lot.

No signal from any of them? Is that while driving or while standing still?
It really should be present in some form behind the radio, since the Audi-fitted radio of some types also use that speed reading for raising the volume of the radio at higher speeds.

So if Audi Assistance told you this, can't they tell you how to proceed with the speedo or ABS? Sounds a lot more tricky to me!

Told you it was getting fuzzy!

Good luck,

Edo

hold on - the A2 has the CAN Bus - the signal's available through this.

i'll try and translate the appropriate bits from the german forum (www.a2forum.com), "suche" "CAN Bus" and post them.
