Steering rack change

I rather doubt that it's an FSI. From your profile, it's a 1.4i.
We completed this job in 5 or 6 hrs taking our time.
Fitted new track rod ends and drop links at the same time - sub frame needed dropping about 6 inches so front section of exhaust need dropping by undoing flange and unhooking off rubber mounts - then supported on a bottle jack.
Used info from Polo on you tube for guidance and then made the rest up as we went along but actually quiet straight forward.
Centralised the subframe up on rebuild and then had it all tracked.
