Steering wheel issue

Hello all, My Tdi90 has a mint interior but the sport three arm steering wheel has developed multiple small cracks over the entire top half. They are about 5mm apart and I think it is due to sun exposure. So I must either buy a mint sport steering wheel or get mine re-covered in new leather. Has anyone here had a wheel re-covered? If so where was it done and at what cost? Many thanks.

What colour is your steering wheel? I've got a selection of surplus wheels and various colours/types. too. Let me know if your interested. Oh, I've also had a wheel recovered It's in blue leather and it cost £100, labour, to do that. Guess what? I've still got that, surplus, too!

@cheechy had a retrimmed sport steering wheel that looked very smart if I remember - was it Royal steering wheels?

These aren't bad for a budget option if you don't mind a bit of needle and thread. Obviously not gonna be nowhere like the finish on the above wheel.
