Suggestions?

Guys is there an easy way to remove the soft touch finish from plastic parts? This is driving me up the wall!

I've used Mr. Muscle kitchen degreaser and IPA on the window switch panels before now. Don't see why that shouldn't work for most coated parts. Not sure how easy you'd call it though

IPA and meths. And lots of scrubbing. I used a soft nail brush.

As above. Be aware that some plastics are white once the coating has been removed, examples being the CC switches light switch and window switches. Most trim if not all are all the same colour plastic underneath the soft coating. If possible let the chemicals really soak by immersion and please wear gloves while removing the soft touch.

I have found meths and enthusiasm useful. Meths doesn't damage the plastic as far as I can see.

My rules are: Do a small bit at a time. The little black person is away at the wheel refurbishers as we speak. Then the meths bottle will be back out in small instalments! Good luck.
