Information Sun Visors, Mirrors.

The sun visors, in my 1.6 FSI, only have a mirror on the drivers side. My passenger feels aggrieved at this omission, as I have one, and never use it, while she really needs one. Is there a build/spec that includes a mirror in the passenger visor too? Mac.

My 2003 FSi Sport has a mirror on the driver and passenger side, so should be available somewhere.. :)
 
I'm sure it used to be the other way round in the cars from years ago, the passenger got a mirror but the driver didn't.

I've never knowingly seen an A2 sunvisor without a mirror on eBay, for either side. Don't suppose someone's fitted a driver's side one to replace a previous broken passenger one by any chance? If so there'll be a mirror, but on the wrong side :D

Try contacting member @Clackers on here, I believe he's got visors for both sides available at the moment. With mirrors of course :)

Edit: Now I look again on the 'bay, yes there are some passenger ones with no mirror. How strange.
 
Assuming your visors are beige, the part you need is 8Z0 857 551 M JST.

If you have support for illuminated mirrors, you need 8Z0 857 551 N JST
unless you have OSS, in which case it's 8Z0 857 551 P JST.

Sorry to jump in on this post but I need the clip that holds the right hand visor into the head lining ( towards the centre of the car) anyone have one ?

All vags 98-2004 use the same clip just a different colour shade, i robbed one off my 98 passat that is awaiting scapping once i get my stuff out of it
 
Is the one that you need the same as the one I need ?
If not I would be happy to pay for the drivers side (RHD) one
