Hi all, recently perusing the how to section with a view to eventually pulling the turbo and giving the variable vanes a good clean.
I found a pdf which explains the process of removing the turbo, great!
quick read through and I noticed that on page 5 it says
– Take off engine cover panel -arrows-. (the arrows point to the three nuts securing the cover in place)
– Remove noise insulation beneath cover.
Which is weird as I do indeed have an engine cover panel which is secured by three nuts/bolts but underneath there is no noise insulation it's just a fibre board moulding!
Question: Is there actually noise insulation that is missing or is it just the fibre panel?
Your thoughts??
