TDI with a thirst for Power Steering Fluid (Solid rack pipe leak)

HI all our TDI 75 has developed a thirst for power steering fluid, its been in the local garage for a look over so I had time to get any parts before they could have time to book it in properly to fix it.
They have confirmed its a leak from a corroded solid pipe on the rack it self, Audi dont sell these on there own, so it looks like I need to get a 2nd hand rack and then harvest a pipe off of it.
Are the racks all the same?
Or is there another option to get just the solid pipe replaced?

Many thanks!

If the pipe can be removed a hydraulic specialist should be able to make a replacement pipe especially if it is just a rigid and has no flexible section. They are after all made with fittings. Garage may also be able to make one if they have the correct grade of pipe.

Ask one of our breakers if they have a suitable pipe by placing a wanted advert in Market.
