Tell me your Votex never got you beached at motorway services, I dare you ?

Bit of fun this post, but I'd be curious to hear stories from those who have fitted Votex kits regards how the bloody hell you don't beach your A2 on crazy high car park kerbs or speed bumps every other day?

I ask this having just returned from the garage getting my non-Votex front undertray reattached after the motorway services kerb kissed the undertray with a heavier Christmas load and two passengers in the back ?

For anyone wondering how we freed the 1.4 SE without pulling off the front bumper/undertray, top tip: get your heaviest passenger to sit on the rear open boot to raise the front up off the kerb, whilst someone also monitors the front and you slowly reverse away carefully. ??

I do not have votex fitted but its happened to me also twice now,
Same as you very high kerbs and detached my undertray now twisted.

You see a lot of A2 front bumpers with big scratches, buckles and strips torn off them underneath, and the holes for the edge of the undertray ripped out. That's exactly how it happens. Luckily not to me as yet, but I'm sure I'll forget about the possibility in the wrong place one day .

However the A2's front bumper is more forgiving in this respect than many other cars - it's the only car I've had that I can drive onto my ramps without having to bridge the transition onto the slope with lengths of wood.
