Though while they do work, the load is insufficient and I was getting lamp failure warning (glow plug light). I'm currently running one of these and one tungsten while awaiting a proper solution.

These are a tight fit though they do fit. Please note they are not road legal, also may well fail MoT.

A little brighter and whiter without being too much.
PS if your changing bulbs take the light out, it’s so much easier then trying to loose your knuckles down the back of them.

Does anyone have a recommendation for H3 main highbeam lamps? These will help on country roads!

I have these, "Philips Ultinon Pro3021 H3 LED" Excellent performance, good beam pattern. The car has passed the MoT with them fitted. Dipped are Osram Next Gen H7 LEDs.
Lot of pennies, but lots of light too.
My opinion only, but if the beam pattern, and cut off is correct, then an MoT should not be a problem.

I use Nightbreakers 150% - I couldn’t find 200% versions at the time although they may be out now. They are a useful upgrade.

Pre 73 Porsche has been my other car world since my 20’s and this site is highly regarded for early lighting.

The shop is worth it just for giggles that cost the same as a decent A2 and when NOS or refurbished Cibie Biode’s come up to purchase . Another part I should have bought 15 years ago

I used their bulb recommendation last year to upgrade the headlights in my Mercedes Sprinter Camper before a Balkans road trip and what a difference. Found them on Amazon
