The Definitive Alloy Wheel Picture thread (Alloys)

To include the extreme option you can JUST about fit 19” wheels in. Shaving a small amount from the arch lip helps with clearance.
The ride was (to me and also to the family) very acceptable and nowhere near as “tooth loosening” as people think.

If 19” is too much for you (and I can understand that). You can use the 18” 9 spokes from the other Audis. They fit straight on and you might not have to trim anything and because they look exactly like the standard 17” Sport wheels, but just bigger (nice and subtle.)

Is anyone still searching for a set of A8 D2 lightweight wheels? Came across a set in very decent shape and already ready for 5x100. ? Asking price is 185£. I’m not the seller, merely the spotter?. Not sure if this could be interesting for anyone. Location is in the Netherlands. But as witte Menno maybe we can facilitate arrangements

Yes I know! I just bought a set of 9- spoke sportline wheels and my current fabia Rs wheels will become my winter set ?
They are wonderful wheels as per my A2 below menno helped me with my first set from Holland then a brand new set came up for sale over here so I sold the first Set ..they really suit the car ..at that price a gift ..they were £500 each when new one of the lightest wheels you can find I fitted 205 50 16 nokian tyres using 12 mm wheel adapters but with those above they are re drilled to bolt straight on but with the offset you will want the 12 mm spacers ..

Indeed, it suits the a2 remarkably well. Good point about the offset. I don’t know the offset by heart and can’t remember Menno mentioning the use of spacers.

They’re a touch too wide for my liking personally (7J?) but if you’re after a lightweight, wide wheel and tyre combo that looks good then they’re hard to beat.

I dont think menno used spacers but he had narrower tyres ..and I wanted to fill the arches from memory et38 ..
I managed to find a mint spare not long ago from Romania (e bay) .

I have them on ‘Tonka’ but they have some kind of adapter fitted (they had been fitted prior to me buying so scetchy on detail) but we warned, fitting them with the extra rubber does totally change the way the car feels and handles. I’m not saying it makes it worse but it is different.

Very nice combination of the colour and wheels, especially with the Votex kit in colour as well.
I’ve noticed that quite a few A2 are equipped with the Votex kit in the UK. Here in the Netherlands there are only a few that I know of ( through the A2 club). It’s is very rare. ?

I have same set up it’s more like a go cart great handling with rear anti roll bar just sits flat ...
