The A2 will be getting a facelift in mid-2003 and I was wondering if anyone had any info on what this will include. A picture would be even better :)

+ how do you think the A2 being discontinued will effect its depreciation?
 
Oh, and while I'm here hehe, I'd love to get a die cast model of the A2 in 1:18 scale... if anyone knows anything about that :D

I have no idea what the future holds for A2 prices, I personally hope in time that they skyrocket!

As for the facelift, I have not seen any pictures, yet, but perhaps someone will be along soon with some.

Welly make a die cast model. The same one that you can win in the A2OC comp. It cost me £4.99 on e-bay. Sorry Stuart , but it's the truth. I'm still trying to win another though.
 
I bought a 1:42 one from the Audi forum in London... it was in the green silver colour... (as this one http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk26.htm Don't know what it is called) that is the closest I could get to crystal blue... in most light conditions it looks exactly like my car though... I also have a tiny ( about 24mm )long A2 I got at the Frankfurt motorshow 2 years ago - but that is just in plain silver...

Audi dealers have 5 different colour ones to choose from... all 1:42 and a little perpex box... BUT it states on the bottom: "This is not a toy! Its an exact scale model and should not be given to children"!!! :D

The Welly one - although not 1:18 - has moveable parts in 1:24 so it's spot on.

Yes, the "Storm" model could well have been the facelift certainly one motoring magazine had in its "due for facelift soon" table which confused us!.

Steve - 2002 1.4SE petrol, Silver, black/black interior, Then an identical replacement 2003 A2. Now a Toyota Corolla 1.6 T-Spirit
 
The Audi dealer/Minichamps models really are artwork!! They are so detailed it's amazing. I've got quite a few models of different scales that have been given to me at home but most of them are allocated as comp prizes, unfortunatlely I don't think anything other than Minichamps is available in the UK.
