Hi everyone,
New to the forum, bought my Audi A2 last summer, loving the car and it is bit of a set up from my old Fiesta! Unfortunately it appears to have developed a leak! The front carpets appear to have picked up a lot of water and upon taking them out water seems to be coming in (when it rains) from behind the middle of the dash.
I have searched the forum but could not find a answer to the problem.
I have checked the following:
Climate tube not leaking
Door cards not wet of letting water in
Seal in bonnet in place.
Values in the air intake in place and not blocked.
Checked the windscreen and it is the original Audi screen
Next step for me is to take the scuttle panel out and have a look under there. I did notice this evening that the drivers side bottom edge of the screen appears to be damp and the foam underneath that appears to be wet. I am now thinking the scuttle panel is not sealed properly and water is getting between that and the windscreen and then tracking down the bulkhead and then tracking in to the car.
Has anyone else had a problem like this and what did they do to resolve it?
I am hoping not to have to take out the entire dash!
