Throttle Body Motor

Three months in to my A2 1.4 TDi 2005 ownership and learning all the time. Already cured several problems with help from this invaluable resource.
Car came with three months warranty from the dealer (local car sales not Audi). Already had a new clutch and a second hand throttle body swirl flap motor (that's what they called it) fitted when the engine kept cutting out when changing gear.
1000 miles later, engine light came on again. No obvious running problems noticed. Local garage says it is the throttle body swirl flap motor again (fault code P3103). They've tried to fix it but say it needs a replacement. Does anyone know if this part available anywhere at reasonable cost please? I understand this is an electronic body on my A2 and not the mechanical version. The dealer has said he will put it right but I dont want a second hand one again and my warranty is virtually up. I feel almost prepared to contribute to a new one if not too expensive.
Any help and advice gratefully accepted.

If it's reading that same fault code again is there a chance that it could not be that part at fault? Especially when there's not a repeat of the same symptoms? When my car had its starting issues there were several fault codes that explained the problem, but none was actually what was causing the problem. Took 4 trips to Audi til the correct code somehow popped up and the problem was solved... in my case the dealer charged me for what they (incorrectly) thought was wrong and had to meet the cost of the subsequent repairs themselves - my point being perhaps let Audi take a look at the car and you might have a bit more peace of mind and a safety net if things go wrong again
