I approve!

Although a good degreaser/all purpose cleaner and a detailing brush would have likely cleaned that area without risk of scratching :)

Tried few times with a detail brush but no joy. I used a very soft brush with the dremmel at low speed.

Finally got round to replacing the broken bumper that was on the car when I purchased it... Sourced the replacement bumper months ago but just not had the time to get it done....

For those needing to do this themselves, it took me about 4 hours to get it off and back on again.

Now just need to polish up the replacement bumper and sort out any marks/scuffs on it.

Having a few jobs done over today and Monday

Oil chain and sprockets
Cambelt and water pump
Alternator belt
Front crank oil seal
New polo tdi dogbone mount
Couple of drop links
And air con hopefully sorted
Garage has taken photos that I will be able to share at a later stage, for now I only have the image of the new and worn guides

Today I services my TDI and fitted the highly modified EGR that I machined all the innards out of a few months ago.
Its not the easiest think to replace as its all at the back top of the engine and there is little room to work, but what a difference it makes, the remapped TDI revs well anyway, but its now at another level, especially when revving from 2500 upwards.
Well worth the hour to fit it :), not to mention the 6 hours to machine out the innards and make the plugs to blank of where the EGR spindle used to be

If I did (and I have considered it) A2OC will need to agree that its OK as it removed the EGR valve, which appear to be frowned upon
It will also not be cheap as there is a considerable amount of machining needed to be done to the EGR valve, it is also only suitable for the AMF engine as the BHC/AML needs the EGR spindle to be in place such that the POT is moved slightly else it will through the EML light

I could also be interested Paul.
