How do they feel Ross? I see you have managed to get some of those rare 16 in sport replicas.
You have a good eye, yes 16” sport replicas after a year of looking they came up whist on holiday with my family.
First Impression was good minimal pedal travel stopped with ease. Looking forward to testing them once bedded in, but I cannot stop looking at them hiding behind wheel.
You need to do it Steve especially with your mapped 90. Total Cost £220 that included new everything bearings, abs sensors etc... one of the best modifications I’ve done to my A2

One of the best mods... rear ARB, in my opinion.

So today I returned from my a2 European holiday adventure. A combined mpg of 55.6, with the uk home leg from Calais giving 63.3.

Total of 3700 miles travelling to florence, sorrento, desenzano del garda, lyon, calais then home to scotland.

Car was Brill as always all be it I had some issues with the wiper. On the way out the depronman plastic rivet cover flew off...I think somewhere outside Paris whilst doing 80mph...

...on the way back and indeed roughly the same area the blade itself decided it had had enough and removed itself from the car whilst also doing 80mph. Stuck on the way down then immediately disappeared over the roof...thankfully no one was behind us or it could have been really nasty.

Managed to pickup another at calais thankfully so all ended well.

No car pics as the thing looks like it's been committing mass flying insect genocide :)

Today I sold my 37K miles A2 to a very nice gentleman who traveled all the way from Scotland, shook hands and drove it away. Very sad to see this special A2 driving off but I am comforted by the fact that the new owner is a true classic car enthusiast and he will cherish it in his impressive car collection. Now I can spoil the silver keeper. Goodbye A2BA, I might be back soon ;)

Today I fitted a new battery to replace the one that's been in since the car was new 2003 so not bad after 16 years old.
Still performs fine didn't want to risk it thru another winter will keep as a backup.

Today I cleaned my car mats. The driver's mat has a little bit of staining, but the other three still look like new. I've given the driver's mat a wash with a decent detergent but I'll probably need to give it a second go to get it back to how I want it.

These are the original twist (beige) mats that came with the car from new in 2001, so it's pretty impressive how well they've stood up to the years.

@damadgeruk No, I do not. I have three other sets with A1 rims, but about to sell one of them because I do not like the grandma design.

Yours however I think look good in 16 inch. Also easy to clean which is nice for winterboots.

Last week I replaced my knackered discs and pads with new Mintex ones very good value and today I ordered new reg light lenses some side light bulbs and I dismantled my fog light and gave them a good clean as advised by my good friend BiggDogg.
