Tight fit! In that case a wheel cover panel would be quite impossible....what tyres-alloys do you have fitted?
Currently fitted are 195/45/16 Dunlop SP winter somethings. The standard A2 16" wheels (six-spoke?).
A wheel spat is not impossible as per my original post. But for someone running the standard wheels and tyres a flat sheet is. A pepperpot with suitable tyre would be fine I imagine.

Aero wing mirrors too! It would be interesting to know what the MPG improvement is? Is there any mention of mpg or Cd where the pictures came from, and indeed what engine?
I think this is the guy who also put a massive aero back on his a2, if it is it’s a 1.2tdi, if I remember correctly he was also testing it as a v twin at one point and one of the pistons was removed. Something along these lines

Somewhat extreme then!

The 1.2tdi has a Cd of 0.25, changing trims will probably make minimal/no difference however other bits will, I’d take a stab its about 0.21 Cd unless he’s done more underbody in which case maybe a little better.

Mods however will only gain minimal improvements as the current 94mpg may only get him to say 100-105 mpg as the mods make no difference to urban driving I’d suspect.

That’s the one! Found the pictures on the Audi A2 owners club Facebook page.

He was apparently getting 2.5l/100km (110mpg) with these mods - there's some more info here: https://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/audi-a2-3l-aeromodded-max-fe-26651.html.

Mira did some testing with an A2 and found the largest benefits came from grill blocks and a full body undertray:

Realised my A2 is probably the best car I ever owned and indeed still own. Been my daily for 16 years, far longer than anything else I've owned, went through a troublesome patch a couple of years ago but with 165K on still delivers reliable motoring, reasonable economy, also the looks are starting to attract attention of ladies in particular: or perhaps it's the driver?

got to the bottom of why my cruise control had stopped working. Whilst at the dealer last week getting a dipstick (my third) I asked for a brake light bulb for the A2. Tip: if you put a single filament in place of the double filament brake light bulb you'll get a brake switch error and cruise will stop working (and your brake lights will all be on when you turn on the headlights). Lesson learned: dont trust the dealers ability to give you the correct bulb.

Thank you mate, very much appreciated. I had sciatica in November and collapsed, requiring paramedic assistance. I’ve still not recovered. The op is to remove a disc that has collapsed and which continues to trap the sciatic nerve.
I’ve had that, it’s unbelievably painful and miserable. The good news is it does recover and I was back playing sport and getting back to normal life pretty soon. Being active is the key!

Today I replaced the door check-strap on the front passenger side.
It had been making an awful noise the last couple of days.
Not sure how it managed to self-destruct to such an extent; nor if it's a suitable candidate for Depronman's refurb service! 😳
