What you have bravely achieved certainly warrants it’s own thread. Your findings will be beneficial should something go wrong with any of our rear cup holders in the future.

Today I....discovered I'm an idiot.
Whilst replacing my intercooler I managed to crack my radiator
A new radiator ordered, does anyone know if I'm able to replace it without having to de-gas and disconnect the condenser in front of it?

I’m sure I’ve seen a video where the little exchanger was just left in place while the radiator was pulled out. I think it came upwards...

Today I spent the afternoon in my shed. Sprayed modified mirror housings, ready for scrolling indicators.
Assembled a pair of headlights that now have a drl strip, and scrolling indicators inside.
Tried to form a sheet of perspex round a rear light unit.... and distorted the rear light lens!
Back to the drawing board, maybe make a plaster mould, and can then use sufficient heat without distortion. Need to order more perspex!
