....(well, yesterday actually but close enough) sent the TDI90 engine off on a pallet across the country. I don’t very often remove an engine as a whole, but a 90 is too rare to waste.

Today I drove across to Simon Martyns and purchased a set of sports seats. Had a great chat with him but there were two significant outcomes for the day..
1. I had thought I was getting a dolphin grey interior, this wouldn't have matched my platinum but I was accepting the mismatch. On arrival it transpired that the seats were in fact platinum and match very well.
2. The seats have electric lumbar, amazing! I have already contacted Tom to see if he can retrofit a wiring harness with the red plug on!

Going to give the seats a clean with some elbow grease. They're pretty good but you know it's be good to give them a spritz whilst they're out

Tht was a hell of a pothole. It's just the top mount that's collapsed. Luckily the suspension turret looks to be flat.

Looks likely to be the original (2004 50k),yes the metal frame had rotted away. Replaced with one from stock(without shock removal). Turret unharmed though the ally is around 4-5mm thick here.

well, it turns out that my new summer boots had 2.7 bar in them... now back to 2.2 / 2.4, let's see how the drive is when I'm back home and out of quarantine.

The breaker that I once had left me with sections of a drain-pipe in place of its rear springs - the pipe was just the right diameter to sit in the spring-cups! The springs went home with Matt @BiggDogg.
