Today I started painting my A2 white

Not really ?
What snow foam do you use?

I've used Bilt Hamber Autofoam for a while now. Its a pretty good pre wash but the viscosity is nothing like you have in this image. Not on any setting.

Funnily enough it's Bilt Hamber auto foam. Fantastic stuff with awesome cleaning power. Have you worked out the flow rate of your pressure washer so you get the concentration correct in the foam Lance bottle? Also, are you using a decent snow foam Lance? Both these things will make a good difference, I can link you to a good thread on detailing world if you like? I found I need 300ml foam to 600ml water in the bottle and my Nilfisk C120 likes that and it will cling well while I work around the rubber trim and other areas with a detailing brush and APC and I rinse after 3-5 mins.

Edited to add Bilt Hamber is definitely not the thickest foam on the market but it's probably the best pre cleaner you can have for this stage.

Hi. Funny I got my lance via a detailing world recommendation. I'll try different mixes. Works really well as you say.

Well, tonight I

Thought it was about time that I got back on to parts business after the paternity break and removed

CD player
Cubby hole
Ashtray
Dash vents
Hazard relay
Staring wheel
Glove box
DIS @cheechy
DIS stalk
Coin tray @TYP 8Z
ASR panel
Handbrake mechanism @Darren C
CCCU @Edwrai
Bonnet
Headlights

And then went on to change the rear springs and spring cups on the Jaipur, removing any rust on the rear axle as I went and giving a coat of paint.

I'm happy with that for an hour and half work, but I definately definately need a lie down now, I'm starting to feel very old at 35 ?

Today I just took a few quick pics of the green A2. Still a brilliant little car and surprising how capable it is as highway muncher. It doesn't show its mileage and feels springy as ever.

The only issue I'm experiencing is some neck and back pain on longer journeys, despite the posh leather. It feels I just can't get the seat low enough, but that might just be due to my posture. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't want to sell it (it drives spot on and that wouldn't make much sense after the recent belt change and tyres), but these pains are getting a bit nerving, especially since I'm mostly using it for long journeys. I'm not listing it anywhere, but should a fellow A2oc'er be interested, you can always drop me a message..

You need a set of sport seats for it, they adjust lower and are far more comfortable.
