Today would have been Kimbolton Country Fayre

so, today would have been one if our favourite socials, Kimbolton Country Fayre.
Combining some fantastic cars, with some great stalls, dancing, Spitfite flypast, music and medieval reenactments, its a fantastic day out.
Next year's date has already been announced - Sunday 11th July, so pop it in your diary. We normally stay at the Holdiay Inn Huntingdon Racecourse the night before and have a meal before setting off early the next day to set up on our Club stand.
We thought it would be nice to share some memories, so ill start us off with a few of my Kimbolton pics. Including the A2's most useful feature - the breakfast shelf ?

Indeed our favourite too as there is such an eclectic mix of vehicles and entertainment, something to suit all. Would have been a perfect day for it too, having just past the Kimbolton turning off the A1 in the sunshine, on our way back from @Proghound having collected some seats and wheels.
Will put next year's date in the diary. Looking forward to when we can meet up safely

Was lovely to see you again today Mandy and Martin. At least we got to have a bit of an A2 social :D

Had booked the day off today to go out and do something as a family. Not really beach weather so we headed to Grafham Water and rented bikes to ride round the lake. A detour down a couple of bridleways brought us to somewhere familiar for lunch :)

Thanks go to Elise for photography (even if she did laugh at my brick of a mobile!). Can recommend Oscar's cafe just round the sharp corners in the High Street, very friendly and an excellent bacon & egg muffin for lunch ?

PS: Lynette says it's OK we can just go in the car next time :D
