Tony Foscolos (A2 Cars)

Just came to do some admin, and see this tragic news.

I remember first meeting Tony many years ago at Castle Combe and we had a lot of interesting conversations. I recall how his boys would quietly sit in his A2 with their games whilst Tony discussed cars with the others assembled. My thoughts are with Petra and the boys at this difficult time.

I have nothing to add to what has already been said before. This is very, very sad news and my thoughts are with Petra and family.

Sad news. I only met Tony once, a few years back when A2 Cars overhauled the suspension on my A2. I then met his lovely wife Petra. If I recall correctly Tony had previously been in education training automobile apprentices. He was passionate about A2 Cars being the foremost company for servicing and modifying A2s, and equally about training young people and giving them purpose in life. He took on a number of apprentices when such opportunities are thin on the ground. My thoughts are with Petra and the boys at this difficult time.

Very sad & tragic news in someone so young.. my condolences to Petra & the family .. I used to really enjoy my days with Tony & Jack at A2cars his passion & knowledge for the cars was 2nd to none .. for me personally, the banter we had, not just about A2s, he will be sadly missed...

Deeply saddened by the news. I will always think of Tony as a friend and will remember him smiling and having a joke, mostly at my stupidity.
Great man.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Petra and the family.

Tragic news. I bought my multiple A2s encouraged by Tony’s genuine care, enthusiasm, and attention to detail in his work. To boot, he was a fine gentleman and always keen to share a passion, observation, or especially a laugh. Thoughts go out to Petra and the family.

I didn’t know Tony unfortunately, Yes sad news!

Wish his family well and for them to think of the happy times to keep them going

Very sad to hear this new. Tony looked after our A2 for several years.

Our thoughts and hopes are with Petra and the boys.

This is shocking news! I remember Tony very fondly and he was a fountain of knowledge on the A2 and a wonderful mechanic and mentor to me when it came to the A2 site and world. I never knew he was illl or had passed away until reading this item now.
How and when did it happen? I still have his and Petra’s email and will forward my condolences onto her and her family. Very sad news and day indeed.
Greatly missed.

I was saddened to hear the news that Tony is no longer with us. His enthusiasm for "our" cars was legendary and his strong commitment to good business practice and customer satisfaction was immediately apparent to anyone who knew him. Petra, if you're reading this, my deepest condolences on your loss, and my best wishes to you and your family at this sad time.

I've met up with Tony many times over the past 5 years. He brought my A2 back to life, attending to every fault I could find and finding others that only someone as enthusiastic about A2's could ever find. I recall meeting up with Tony and Petra at the Audis in the Park event in Billing. I was so proud of how Tony had prepared my A2, and he was gracious in accepting all the compliments paid when the car was on show. I'm so saddened by the news, and my deepest sympathy goes out to Petra, his family and all his friends.

Never good to hear of someone passing away too soon. Tony has been involved with A2's longer than many and I pass my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

I have known Tony like others many years (I was so sad and upset when I read this).

Tony has been with the a2 group since I can remember, I have met Tony at many socials.

I remember Tony bringing so much joy, excitement, enthusiasm and fun. I will will always remember Tony of these times.

Tragic and unhappy to hear of this.
I've been attempting to get in touch with Tony of late; this news explains why I didn't hear back.

My thoughts go out to Petra and the boys.
Rest in peace, Tony - you were truly one of kind and I will miss you mate.

Shocked and saddened to hear this news, spoke with Tony in December and he sounded so upbeat about moving to new premises. He will be missed by many. My condolences to Petra and the family
