just buy a copy of vagcom / vcds and have done with it, even the £5 cable from Ebay is very very good

It's being sold through a mailbox address in Byron Bay, NSW and is widely reported to be pirated software from ScanMaster https://www.scantool-direct.co.uk/scanmaster-elm-professional-diagnostic-software.html

Like others have said, the only tool worth paying for is VCDS.
