Hi Has anyone fitted a Mark 1 TT 5 speed gear lever ,and surround to there A2?
having taken a look at mine I think it could be done with a hybrid plastic fitting that clips into the A2 lower dash extension, could well be a bit of 3d printing?
It has been done a few times I've seen them. Look really nice but I belive there are some brave moves to be made possibly involving plastic cutting...someone will come along with info..
If you go for the mk1 you'll need to shorten the gear lever by 25mm and drill out the tt knob to 12mm. The rubber gaitor is glued to the metal ring.
I used short posi countersunk wood screws to secure the aluminium ring.
