Tuning the 1.4 petrol

Has anyone tuned the 1.4 petrol? I have found a french company who claim to be able to boost the power by 12 bhp. No reponse to my email yet about where to buy the mod from and exactly what the mod is.
Might just have to change to the 1.9TDi when it comes out:D

Are you thinking of Power Systems ?
Haven't heard all goood things about this company.
Their tuning chip is a plug-in only.
Have been in contact with them myself and they haven't even been able to show me a power/torque diagram for my A2 !!!!!!!!!

Chech out www.wimmer-rst.de instead, a serious German tuner.

I have looked at the link you suggested and sent them an email - could be just what I want; thanks BK.

I got a response from Power Systems today. The price is 380 euro for the box. It gives a 12bhp increase and 1.8nm torgue increase.
Does anyone out there have experience of the Power Systems upgrade?

BK - I have emailed rimmer and they have not replied yet - maybe they don't understand English; I certainly don't understand German.

Do you know if they have any agents in the UK? I have tried to search on reports of their tuning upgrades, but haven't found anything. Can you point me at any information? Maybe a magazine review?

Everything I find is in German. Sorry

But they do get very good testresults :)
I have read tests conducted on TT's, A3's, A4's and Golf's.
And they have all been very promising.

I'm not sure if they do have a UK distributor though.

I'll try to find some of the tests.
These tests have been published in German magazines and not on
the internet :(
I'll go trough my stack of magazines at home to try and fine
at least a couple of tests. Can't promise anything though :)
Maybe some of the magazines have internet sites as well, I'll try
to check this out as well.

Not impressed by Wimmer though if they haven't replyed to your mail yet :(
