Turning Indicators Help Needed Please

Hi everyonee just a bit of help needed please.I have last both indicators i have been told by a friend who works at a garage that the relay needs replacing as this is a common fault on a2s.Now is this true i think he might be right as all the hazards lights work.If this is so can someone let me know where the relay is.Also any idea of price and is it an easy diy fit .Thanks in advance all.

The flasher unit is about £25 and it's not too difficult to fit. See link for more details -there are some good photos and instructions in some of the later posts

Turning Indicator: I repaired it myself

Hi,

The problem with my turning light indicator box was the contacts: the where burned. So I cleaned the surface of the contacts with a piece of sandpaper (P800) and put the box back in place. That was about three years ago. Cost: None.

The turning light indicator box is located behind the storage compartiment just before your gears. Remove the storage compartiment carefully, and you will see a litte black box.

I hope you see what I mean. I'm not a native English speaker. Excuse me if I did not use the correct words.
