Tyres - it never used to be this difficult!

I have found Halfords good also. Just do some shopping around for a real place and prepare to barter, they need the business and if you say you have found cheaper elsewhere they can often be accommodating. HotUKDeals will also give you leads to good tyre prices if you have time to wait. Failing that just buy some extra alloys as you did previously, it's the simplest way if anyone has some going spare and you get another set for when you need tyres next time. I usually keep a Summer and Winter set.
Thank you. I actually have a full set in my shed that I took off my other A2, but not really enough strength to get them out of the garage, around the house, the others off and those ones on.
I'm going to open a tyre shop for girls when I retire ?

Thank you -.i'm at work during the week so it's really tricky to have anything delivered. I really need to have somewhere that I can just take it and they sort it. I'm half thinking of putting the flat back on, ringing the RAC and letting them take it somewhere
Temporarily fit one of Mabel's spare set of wheels to get you to wherever you're having the tyres fitted.

Ah, it's ok, I can't easily do that. I managed to get the flat tyre off and shoved in the car, but I don't have any way of keeping the car off the ground if I take all the wheels off and they are really heavy - I'd really struggle to get them off and into Mabel to take them anywhere. I only managed to get the flat wheel undone by balancing on top if the wheel nut undoer (sorry - really busy week at work and I can't remember the proper name) and bobbing up and down
I just realised that I was being outstandingly stupid when I wrote this! ??????

Thank you he has her little spare on at the moment. I'll take it to a couple of places tomorrow and see how far I get I think

Order the tyres form Camskil get one of the members to take up your spare rims (wheels) to the refurb place in Birmingham where they do them for £120 and bobs your uncle! ;) I'm really surprised you've not heard of Costco. ?

Ahh sorry. If I was in any way closer I'd do it for you.

As you have discovered, the supplied wheel nut brace isn't great. This extending one should be much easier to use(Screwfix.com - £6.99).
No account required to buy from Screwfix.com, there's four branches in Norwich (though item would need to be ordered for next day collection).

Have to say I have one of these in a couple of my vehicles makes life so much easier ...there no straining unlike using the manufacturers short example ?

Google tyres Norwich there’s lots of choices available
Thank you. Yes, I had looked, but all were giving fitting dates in the week and ideally I'd wanted to get it done today (when I was originally meant to have the ones I ordered through Blackcircles fitted).
I couldn't get them done this morning, but found a place within walking distance of work and have now booked him in for tuesday. I can drop him off in the morning and pick up at lunchtime ?

I always use Bury Tyre Centre, Bury St Edmunds. It's a bit of a drag from Norwich but in 2 weeks' time there's the Christmas market on, so you could fill up on gluhwein and churros whilst you're there. Bury Tyre Centre are an entirely straightforward tyre fitting shop. A bit grubby, well priced, accessible, friendly, and if they don't have what you want, they'll typically get it in an hour or so. They fitted my Pirelli P1 185/60 x 16s, which are a lovely tyre.

Yep I can relate to that:
Costco
Deliveroo
Uber
Mains gas
All science fiction down here.

Ah we do have mains gas and deliveroo (although not used it), but I remember going to Leeds to see friends last year and at the end of the night they suggested getting an "Uber". I had no idea. From how they explained it, I think they meant what we would call a taxi in Norwich
