Unique Audi A2 SE 90 BHP 2004 for quick sale

Hi
I am looking for a quick sale on my Audi A2. It was registerd in Jan 2004 and last registered owner was the Audi Dealer. I am the 2nd. It has done 49000 miles. 1.4 TDI SE, Full service history and also has rear parking sensors, Bodykit, Climate Control Air Con, ASR, ESP, Leather & adjustable steering wheel, lovely cream color interior that goes well with the bautifull Met blue color of the exterior.
Tracking recently adjusted. A few minor scratches on the alloys and rear bumper and a dent on the rear passenger side door. As per Audi authorised bodywork shop the cost of the damages on the body including re-painting is only £300. This car has been very reliable however, I am looking for some thing elseand would like to sell it I will accept any thing near £6,500. It's just been serviced and had All brake discs and pads changed, also oil and brake fluid and the filters changed. under a year tax and MOT.
My name is Tony and my mobile number is: 07877737442.
Please see attached photos.

Hey there

Look's like the skirt covers are missing i think you'll need to replace them first before you put it up for sale. covers cost me £10-£15 bob each if memory serves right and £45 to paint, good luck with your sale.

Cheers,

A2sport

Good luck with the sale, a very nice (if not unique) spec'd car at a reasonable price given the history and mileage. Best to delete the additional 2 threads you have started, I assume this was an honest mistake and not a marketing strategy:D

I'd be very wary of this car.

I believe it to be a scam, those pictures i have seen on numerous occassions on Autotrader ads stating that you can't ring them as the phone is broken.....

I imagine you'll turn up and be met by 2 guys who then beat the living daylights out of you and walk off with your cash.

I think you may be right trufflestu - it looks a little too tempting to be true.

Please forgive me Tony if you are genuine and if so, I'll gladly do a diagnostic free of charge if you can get to me.

Cheers,

Mike

Hmmm?! :( Potentail scammers on the A2OC not a good thing is it? The pictures do look a little familiar now truffles has highlighted it. The missing jacking point covers on the bodykit is the thing that sticks out. The registration checks out fine on DVLA and the car is taxed for road use - but then anyone can check those details? Litmus test will be Tony replying to this and the doubters eating humble pie.
If not - well spotted, and Im sure the administrators will close this thread PDQ

Thats the first thing i looked for was some sort of complain button but I couldn't find one, or an e-mail address for an administrator.

The photos were stolen from a genuine ebay ad, it's how i remember them now.

I do remember because i had a look at about 20 different A2's before settling on Augutus. Which involved checking the usual places 2/3 times a day.

Trufflestu - see the red triangle at the top of each post, with an exclamation mark in it? That/s a report button and it will flag the post to all the admins.

The OP was last online at 5.15 this evening and I'll give it a day or two for them to come back before closing the thread. I've already deleted the 2 duplicate posts, so let's see what happens.

Cheers,

Mike

PS If they are a scammer, perhaps there is a little get back that we can perform with that mobile number - scam the A2OC at your peril!!

My long awaited response

I have been trying to sell this car for quite some time now. I have tried ebay, Gumtree, Auto Trader and have nothing but time wasters. I can assure that this is a genuine advert. The car is registered to my name Tony is only a nickname). If interested by all means call me and we'll arrange a meeting, I promise no one will be hurt as some of the replies above were going about the buyer getting beaten up. This nothing like that. We can even arrange to meet out side a Police Station if you like. I am close to Borehamwood and Watford. Please no time waster and no funny comments. I appreciate that soem of you guys are enthusiasts but please, I am only trying to sell my car at a good price because I need the money.

Here are some more pics

I beleive these pics were not on the Ebay and the Auto Trader adverts and only for your viewing pleasure. There are more where they came from, lol

The missing parts

Hey there

The missing parts has nothing to do with the car being able to be sold or not!

I hope that if all is straight, it will be snapped up by a member (or prospective member) who will cherish it for the great little car that it is.

No offence was meant by any of the posts in this thread, we are a cautious bunch who tend to look out for one another and for potential dodgy motors (such as the obviously clocked example on Ebay recently), which might end up costing the buyer a lot of aggro and/or cash.

Best of luck with the sale - you're in the right place if it is a good example.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Tony, apologies from us doubting Thomas' ! Although from your description that you had a unique A2 for sale, I thought the references in bold above, suggested your car had cream leather interior. (I am set straight now Ive seen your extra photos!):) Pricing may well be an issue if your car has been on sale a long time. If you have been asking over £7k originally and the little bodywork jobs need doing this will undoubtedly put viewers off, even though the fix isnt expensive. Some TLC will restore to 'like new'
As a rough guide, I bought our April '04 90 Sport this June from an independant dealer for £6700 at 47k miles. It was mint barring a wheel refurb thats now done. The SE will not attract as high a price as the Sport.
Heres a link to Glass's guide for your car:

If you are prepared to haggle below the £6500 mark I am sure this will be a fab addition to the A2OC family.

buyers

Thanks guys for your reply. I am willing to go down to £6000 even, because otherwise will have to sell the car to WEBUYANYCAR.COM for a silly price. Please get in touch and we'll discuss a suitable price.

A bargain! Ive been on autotrader this morning after not looking at A2's for sale for a week or so (very, very unlike me but works been hectic ) theres a few nice 90's for sale but not at this money. I really hope you get a buyer who will look after your little car. If you get no bites on here, try and independant Audi Specialist first like fontain.co.uk (they have a wanted ad for A2Tdi's on Autotrader - you maybe tried them already??) I'd turn all stones before you sell to highwaymen! You will be shocked at the offer they give you :(

Max Speed

Just thought I let you guys know, the max speed on this little car has been 130 miles.
