Unique Audi A2 SE 90 BHP 2004 for quick sale

Thrashed?!

Not necessarilly it thrived upon it, more like Poetry in Motion. Very smoothly and eagerly. not recommending it to be done, just thought you might know of it's capabilities.
Thrashed?! Nch Nch Nch

I think that most owners or potential owners are fully aware of the TDi 90s capabilities - oh and the fact that the speedo goes to 150mph is a clue.

It's no good ticking me off for suggesting it's been thrashed either - you're the one who said it's been up to 130mph on the public roads (and you still do it as well by the sounds of it!) - not really a responsible way to drive now is it?

Cheers,

Mike

Blimey. Forum users are just trying to be helpful. When trying to get a sale, presentation and helpfulness count for a great deal. Even when the economy was going well, buyers tend to look for any reason NOT to buy. Given your responses above, it might be you, not the car, that is preventing the sale.

P.S. Honest John in the Daily Torygraph always recommends www.sure-sell.info as an easy way of getting a sensible (auction) sale price for private cars.

Why not keep ur opinions to ur self.

Because I am an admin, a co-owner of this site and my opinion matters in a lot of cases - this one is no exception.

My opinion on most matters A2 is well regarded amongst members, as they trust me as one of the foremost experts on A2s in the country.

Can I remind you of your original post, before you edited it, stating the way this car has been and is still being driven:

"Just thought I let you guys know, the max speed on this little car has been 130 miles so far on M1 and still does."

So, I see a bodykitted A2 (done either badly or incompletely due to the missing jacking point covers and towing eye cover), the statement that it is regularly driven at speeds approaching double the legal limit on public roads and I draw the conclusion that the car is thrashed (I'd say that is a fair assessment - driving a car at the redline in top gear!). Couple that with the fact you're having trouble selling, even at that knock down price, what else am I meant to say? If you cared about presentation, you'd get the bodywork sorted yourself, especially if it's only £300 worth at an Audi bodyshop.

Sorry if you don't like the truth, but that's what these pages are about!

Cheers,

Mike

Oh, and if you are going to edit a post for reasons of spelling, be a good chap and don't use text-talk in posts eh!

Can I also ask why the front skirt from the bodykit is missing?

This, together with a new front number plate (supplied by Bedmond Coachworks in Watford, with the glamourous address of Bedmond Coachworks Ltd, Garage Behind 56 High Street, ABBOTS LANGLEY, WD5 0RH) suggests that there has been a frontal impact at some point in the cars life.

As the rear numberplate (from M25audi) checks out with your original story of being pre-registered with Audi UK, the mis-match of front and rear is a cause for concern.

Please feel free to put us all in the picture.

Cheers,

Mike

I am gonna be frank with you. Your oppinions has beet totally rubbish to this point except the fact about the max speed. True perhaps I needed not to write that or drive the car in that way, then you should have informed me that it is illegal to drive in that form rather than flirt with me and say; Oh It'sbeen thrashed then, which means you were partial to the fact or were just protection your silly club. Then once I told u to shut up cause u are full of non-sense and should keep your jibber jabber to your self you then try to bring up some body work issue and pass judgements that it's crashed. I am gonna pass a verdict that you are full of rubbish oppinons. YOU should have told me and warned me about the illegality of my comments rather than being silly. Of course I have not driven the car at that speed and of course I wanted to know how much you know about the car and what are you worth, and my oppinon so far is that you are truly a sad little man in love with your silly A2.
Cheers mate but no cheers
Car has now been sold from a buyer as the result of the ad. Tata

It might be my eyes or screen but the front view of car the nearside bumper headlight gap appears bigger ? could be wrong.

Good riddance to bad rubbish springs to mind! Farewell from this 'silly club' and please don't darken our doors again.

As you have now sold the car and clearly have no interest in A2s, you won't mind if I delete your account for you will you?

Cheers,

Mike

PS Alan, you're right - the bumper isn't on straight. This car has been in a frontal impact and poorly repaired - it's a duffer at best, a ringer at worst.

Blimey! I didnt see this lot coming. Regards Mike from me and countless others I am sure, your opinions on Audi A2 are only rubbished by a fool, and to date I have yet to see a thread as nasty as this has become. I trust it can be sent to room 101 soonest? Sold to a forum member - aye right!!!!

It's a real shame.

I appear to have missed the fun and games:p

He was so polite for someone who wanted to sell his car.as well. I do hope that it hasn't gone to a fellow member and also the unfortunate buyer is aware of what they have bought.

Speaking from experience, when i went to view other A2's people where very quick to ask whether i would be paying cash or cheque...

(Not you though Rich)

Poor soul who bought the car. Let's hope for his or her sake that the car isn't as bad as I suspect. My regards to you Mike, our hero!

Its a shame we cant flag the car up for other clubs, it was entertaining though. Nice one mike, its good to be part of a club that looks out for other members.

Alan

Hero? No - I just wanted to out this for the dodgy deal it was/is.

As opposed to getting personal with me and my opinions, a genuine seller would explain away the discrepancies in the bodywork repairs, bumper shut lines, mis-matched number plates and obvious liking for highly dangerous speeds.

The way he got personal just made me more determined to get to the bottom of the matter. I don't think it's been sold, let alone to a forum member. Prepare to see this car pop up somewhere else, where there is a real danger that someone with an eye not so keen may just be tempted.

I won't delete the thread because that is something that should be left for spam and swearing/gross offense. I hardly think that calling this award winning website 'silly' or me a sad little man warrants this sort of censorship.

Cheers

Mike

I think you may be right in the car not being sold. The way the thread developed he just knew that selling the car through this club would be impossible and therefore declared himself out by saying he sold the car.
Not knowing the procedure in the UK, is there an easy way to find out if the car has been sold through the registration number?

If you was to check now and then check in a few weeks time the dvla v5 would show a new owner on top of how many there already are.

What an incredible attitude for somebody trying to sell a car. That's one I would definitely run away from. If it is sold, I really pity the buyer as they are in for several nasty surprises.
