I can say that the seat has come out very well. Now I want to know if some sort of fabric protector is a good idea(Scotch Guard). I will do the drivers seat next.

You can add attachments to a thread. Just select the "go advanced" button then click on "manage attachments"

you can then then attach your word document. (Or other types of attachment)

Hi Steve, I've tried to save it, but even compressed the file is too large to save. I am happy to send it to someone who can adjust etc as necessary?

The foam in the right hand bolster of the seat section of my driver's seat has collapsed and I'd like to repair it. A local recommended upholsterer has quoted £100-£120, does this seem expensive? Would replacing it with a second hand cushion be better? Can the driver's side seat cushion be replaced with a passenger side cushion?

Yes, I've done this a couple of times. The profile is slightly different where the centre-section is, but it does still fit. The great benefit with doing this is that the worn sections of the seat squabs will be on the inside and you get some excellent, completely unworn sections transposed to the outside! I even have it in mind to change over the top sections of the seats. I have some dummy air-bag holders/covers which will be needed to do this ....

Quoted price doesn't look too bad, seats are time consuming to dismantle.
