OK all, happily enough we have just found out that we are expecting another baby-yippee!!!.

However sadly this means Ollie will have to make way for a larger car,
even at present Ollie is not big enough for us but weve managed because he's such a great car.

I think Ollie is well known on here though I will just dd that he's just had a new MOT and three new glow plugs and a new cam belt and water pump- neither of these were due untill next years but I wanted them done as a precaution, the 60k service has also just been done.
Only other thing to mention is that there is a very minute crack in the drivers top door hinge but this is me being picky.
DIS says service due in 20k !!.

Ideas on valuation greatfully received thanks in anticipation.

PS We would love to keep him but alas we cant afford two good cars in the family(yes i get the banger!!).
 
Why not sell the banger and buy a bigger car at auction?

VW Touran seems de rigeur for larger families and TDI ex demos go at auction well below dealer price.
 
Sadly we need the cash from Ollie to pay for the family car.My banger is only worth 1500 ish.
One of the top two cars on our list is a 2.0tdi Touran!!, they look fab in med met blue or deep red.
 
he he he I wouldnt need a special buzzer to keep me awake, I have the wife for that!!.
Surly they arenot that bad??, We had a ZafiraSRi before our last Audi and that was OK but thats what the wife wants though I would prefere keeping in with the VAG family, Sharon's etc are two big and the 6 and 7 th seats would get in the way as i wouldnt have anywhere to store them so a Touran seems ideal though i have to find a buyer for Ollie first!!
Have just spent £700 on maintainance for Ollie so he should need for nothing until next MOT and I would like to get £8000 so I was thinking of putting him up for about £8250 ish.
Also would like a Touran cos its in the VAG fami9ly and I wouldnt feel out of place still coming on here sometimes.:)

If I was in the market, I would sorely be tempted myself Andy - TDI90 should be a doddle to sell.
