VCDS Lite not accepting login code!

Hi guys, I recovered my SKC using the Commander software.

I have now plugged in my vag com cable (no its not an original) and ran the VCDS lite program.

I want to program my remotes to the car but i am unsure how to do it although i have done it before. must be hitting early dementure... lol

I entered the 4 digit login code that was read from the Instrument cluster using Commander. I put a 0 in front of the code but it says login code not accepted by controller.

any ideas?

my VCDS is only the unregistered light version mate. Everything is very vague with regards to SKC as it appears to be a taboo subject since dealers no longer give it out. Nobody is willing to discuss it, if they can get the SKC and know how to use it they want to make money from it where as i would just like to help myself and others!
I have used the leads i have at the moment to program the keys before but was on my old laptop so may have been a fully unlocked cloned version of VCDS that i used.

i am unable to access channel 21 on the lite version which is how the key problem was solved in the thread that you posted to me.

i feel at a total loss and banging my head against the wall.

I have the convenience module number if its of any help: 8Z0 959 433 N
