VCDS - No response from controller?

Just been out to perform a quick check on VCDS of all the systems before the car goes in for it MOT on Wednesday and when it gets to '09 Central Elect.' i get an error message saying "No Response". Has anyone else had this problem before?

FYI, '46 Central Convenience' seems to be working fine and is reporting errors with 3 of the doors saying "wont de-safe"

Any help appreciated.

Genuine or clone VCDS and full version or VCDS-Lite......?
What firmware/software versions are you using?

During an autoscan VCDS will not interrogate 09 for the A2 if the correct vehicle model is selected.

Generally the A2 does not have any controllers that are tested under the Central Electronics group

Its a genuine VCDS on version 11.11

It was set to an A2 for the chassis type before the autoscan so i dont know why its scanned 09, but at least i know its not a problem with the car.
