Only click on these if you have BROADBAND! They are time delay videos without sound (obviously) taken on a Pentax Optio S5i.
First one was some time ago. This is the map of the road:
Note that on most media players you can adjust the speed that it plays back the video at. So on Windows Media Player for example go to Play/Play speed and set that to “slow” to see the video slower and see more detail!
The road is marked on the map above in orange. It used to be one of my alternative ways to Gatwick. The blue road on the left is the M23 motorway to Gatwick (and Brighton). In Outwood you see in blue the word “Windmill”. Look out in the video and you’ll see it flying past!
This is the video (5,7MB):

Then this morning's trip. I first attached my camera to the car with my satellite navigation’s attachment:
Thus I could take video even though I was on my own! On the first video above a friend held the camera in his hand. The video went up and down to much as a person’s arms move independent of the car when you go over bumps. So a direct fix to the car was much better.
The first video below is going up the hill on the road to the right of the blue 1 just above the word “Church” on the A25 (bottom of map). At the top of the road where it says “North” I turned left and started the second video. Just before this road crosses the M25 I stopped and turned back to record the third video. The fourth is driving east on the B2024 over the North Downs ridge.
First 2MB, second 3MB third 5MB and fourth 4MB
